ABOUT WATER ENERGIZERS, INC.
History
Water Energizers, Inc. is a privately held corporation that was established in 1987 by the late Robert E. Harris. In 1989, Mr. Harris appointed his daughter, Rhonda Harris, as president of our rapidly growing company. Since that time, Rhonda, with the aid of our staff and network of distributors, has continued to promote the unique, environmentally safe product her father was so passionate about.
Facility
Our corporate offices and manufacturing operations are located in a 12,000 square-foot facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana, just minutes from Louisville, Kentucky.
Pride
Manufacturing a superior, sustainable water treatment product is what we take pride in. We are also proud of the fact that, for over three decades, we have been providing chemical-free water treatment to satisfied customers throughout the world. Through our customers’ choice to use Water Energizers instead of chemical water treatment, millions of barrels of chemicals have been prevented from being discharged into our waterways and that’s something we can all be proud of.
Our Environment
Protecting the environment is at the core of everything Water Energizers, Inc. does. All raw materials used in the manufacturing process of Water Energizers are American made. This reduces our carbon footprint by eliminating emissions from overseas transport. All waste materials from the manufacturing process, as well as from spent product, are delivered to recycling centers to minimize the impact on our environment. Even our packing materials are environmentally friendly – we use biodegradable packing peanuts made of cornstarch, instead of the standard Styrofoam type that are non-biodegradable. These steps are more costly, but, to us, protecting the environment is priceless.
Giving Back
Water Energizers, Inc. believes in giving back to the community – not just the local community, but the global community as well. Each year, we make a donation to the local chapter of the Dream Factory in order to make the dream of a critically ill child a reality. We regularly contribute to Feed the Children in an effort to erase childhood hunger locally and throughout the world. We also provide ongoing monthly support through World Vision International to a number of young children in foreign countries so they can receive food, medical care, clothing and an education. Another organization we contribute to monthly is International Justice Mission (IJM). IJM is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression.
